Then helping with our community dinners or summer lunch program will be a wonderful fit for you!

Please join us on the third Tuesday of each month in preparing and serving our community dinners! We arrive about 3 p.m. and are usually finished about 6:30 p.m. We would enjoy it, if you could join us for as little or as long as you can on these nights.

Community Dinners
Summer Lunch Preparation
Students and adults are welcome to join us at Claridon Congregational Church (13942 Mayfield Road, next to the Town Hall) on Monday, Wednesday and/or Friday mornings. We arrive at 9 a.m. and are usually finished around noon. There is no need to schedule a day to volunteer, just drop in and join us whenever the schedule works for you. Stay for the whole morning, or just part of it.

Have a student that doesn't want to wake up that early in the summer? Volunteers are also needed for the clean up process of washing the dishes (with a dishwasher) wiping down tables, moping the floor. Arriving around 11 would be wonderful and we usually finish between 12:30 and 1.
Summer Lunch Delivery
Lunches will be delivered to a variety of locations in the area covered by Berkshire, Cardinal, Chardon, Kenston and West Geauga School District. Drivers are needed to deliver the lunches to children in these areas. Drivers need to arrive at the church by 11:15 to pick up lunches. A driver will have 3 or 4 delivery stops and should be finished between 12:30 and 1.
